Art that Fights

“The heart in the backpack”

Winning illustration of the 3rd edition of "RefugiArte" in 2020, a call for illustration carried out by UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency.

This work is inspired by the migration crisis in Nicaragua, and represents the moment when a person is forced to leave their country and the only thing they can take with them is the love for their home in their hearts.

Art Series about Migration

This series was commissioned by Artvocate, a UK-based online art gallery specializing in promoting activist-focused works. For this project, I was asked to develop a series of four original illustrations addressing the theme of migration from both a human and symbolic perspective

Each piece was conceived to reflect on the challenges, emotions, and hopes experienced by displaced people. As part of the project's social commitment, 15% of the sale price of each artwork was donated to UNHCR (the UN Refugee Agency), directly supporting those experiencing forced migration

8M

Every year I create an illustration for March 8th (International Women's Day) from an artistic perspective

Statistically, as a woman, you're more likely to enter a museum as a nude model than as the artist. That's why I create a protest illustration, contradicting the common compliment, "You're art"

None of these artworks were created with Artificial Intelligence
